1. About these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a contract between you ("you", "the customer") and FlatSix Intelligence, a sole-trader business based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us", "our"), operating the website flatsixintelligence.com.
By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with them, do not place an order.
2. The service
FlatSix Intelligence provides an automated pre-purchase analysis service for certain Porsche 911 vehicles advertised on third-party listing websites, including Auto Trader UK (autotrader.co.uk).
When you submit a qualifying listing URL and (for full reports) a vehicle registration mark (VRN), and you pay the applicable fee, our automated system:
- Reads the publicly visible content of the listing — text description, specification fields, photos, price, location, seller type, and so on;
- (For full reports) queries the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and DVSA MOT History API for the VRN you provided, retrieving data the UK government holds about that vehicle;
- Cross-references the listing against the government register data to identify discrepancies (for example, mileage rollback or claims that conflict with DVLA records);
- Applies a fixed set of rules covering Porsche 911 generation-specific features, options, known issues, and typical market data;
- Produces a PDF report which is delivered to the email address you provided, typically within minutes.
Independence. FlatSix Intelligence is an independent business. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, partnered with, or sponsored by Auto Trader, DVLA, DVSA, Porsche AG, or any vehicle marketplace, manufacturer, or government body. References to these names in our reports and on our website are for identification purposes only.
Auto Trader listings are read from publicly accessible web pages. We have no contractual relationship with Auto Trader. Auto Trader may at any time change its website, listing format, or access rules in ways that interrupt or end our ability to provide reports for listings sourced from their platform.
This service is fully automated. Reports are generated by software and AI without manual human review of each individual report. The service analyses the content of the listing you submit and the official register data we retrieve; it does not involve physical inspection of the vehicle, mechanical testing, or a conversation with the seller.
3. Eligibility and account
To use the service you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract. You do not need to register an account — an order is placed by submitting a listing URL, the VRN of the vehicle in the listing (for full reports), and your email address, and paying at checkout.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address you have permission to use. If the email bounces or is undeliverable, we are not obliged to re-attempt delivery beyond reasonable effort.
You are also responsible for providing the correct VRN for the vehicle you intend to analyse. If you submit a VRN that does not correspond to the vehicle in the listing, the report will reflect what the official registers say about the VRN you provided — which may differ from the vehicle being advertised. This is, in fact, one of the discrepancy patterns the report is designed to surface.
4. Placing an order
An order is placed by:
- Submitting a valid Auto Trader UK listing URL on the submission form;
- Providing the VRN of the vehicle in that listing (full reports only);
- Providing your email address;
- Acknowledging these Terms and the Privacy Policy via the tickbox at checkout;
- Completing payment via Stripe Checkout.
A contract is formed when we confirm payment has been received and your order has been queued for processing. Until then, no contract exists and we are entitled to refuse any order at our discretion — for example, if we suspect fraud or misuse.
Pricing
- Single report: £29
- 3-report bundle: £69 (£23 per report)
- 5-report bundle: £99 (£19.80 per report)
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of any applicable UK VAT. Prices may change from time to time; the price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
5. Bundle credits
When you purchase a bundle, you receive the corresponding number of report credits (3 or 5) linked to your email address. Each credit:
- Entitles you to one report on a qualifying Auto Trader UK listing;
- Expires 30 days from the date of purchase;
- Is redeemed automatically when you submit a new listing URL using the same email address used at purchase;
- Is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Unused credits after 30 days are forfeit. We do not refund, extend, or otherwise compensate for unredeemed expired credits, and we do not send expiry reminders — though we may do so in future as a courtesy.
6. Delivery of reports
Reports are delivered by email to the address you provided at checkout. We aim to deliver within minutes of payment, though delivery may be delayed by factors outside our control (for example: high load, service outages at our suppliers, DVLA or DVSA API outages, or changes to the source listing platform).
If you have not received your report within 2 hours of payment, please check your spam/junk folder, and if it is still missing, contact us at hello@flatsixintelligence.com quoting the order reference shown on the thank-you page.
7. Refunds
Consumer cancellation rights
Under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you generally have a 14-day right to cancel contracts made online. However, this right does not apply to digital content that has begun to be supplied with your express consent and acknowledgement that the right to cancel will be lost.
By placing an order and ticking the acknowledgement at checkout, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once the report has been generated. This is because our service is delivered within minutes of payment — there is no meaningful cancellation window.
Our refund policy
Because the service is automated and delivered immediately, we do not offer refunds under normal circumstances. This includes (but is not limited to):
- You changed your mind after receiving the report;
- You no longer want to buy the car;
- The seller withdrew the listing after you ordered;
- You found the same information elsewhere;
- You disagree with the report's analysis or risk classification.
We do offer refunds in the following specific circumstances:
- Non-911 listing. You submitted a URL that our validation accepted but which does not actually describe a Porsche 911 (e.g. a different Porsche model, a different make, or a non-vehicle listing).
- Unsupported source. You submitted a URL that our validation accepted but which is not a genuine Auto Trader UK listing page (e.g. a search results page, an expired listing, or a different website).
- Pipeline failure. Our automated pipeline failed to generate a report due to a fault on our side, and we are unable to generate one on a retry.
- Duplicate charge. You were charged twice for the same order due to a technical error.
How to claim a refund: Email hello@flatsixintelligence.com within 14 days of your order, quoting your order reference (e.g. FS-2026-XXXXX) and the reason. We will review and respond within 5 working days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 10 working days.
We review refund requests in good faith. If we decline a request we will explain why. These refund terms do not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles you to a remedy if a digital service is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described.
8. What the report is — and is not
8a. What the report is
- An automated analysis based on the content of the Auto Trader listing you submitted, combined with the data returned by the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and DVSA MOT History API for the VRN you provided;
- Informational — designed to help you ask better questions, identify discrepancies between the listing and official records, and notice things you might otherwise miss;
- Based on publicly available information about Porsche 911 model-year-specific issues, known patterns, and typical market data.
8b. What the report is not
- A physical inspection of the vehicle;
- A mechanical, electrical, or structural assessment;
- A pre-purchase inspection (PPI) by a qualified mechanic;
- A valuation or formal appraisal;
- A guarantee of the vehicle's condition, history, or fitness for purpose;
- A guarantee that the listing is genuine, that the seller is who they claim to be, or that the vehicle being shown matches the VRN provided;
- A vehicle history "guarantee" product comparable to those offered by HPI or Auto Trader's Vehicle Check (we do not offer financial reimbursement for losses arising from inaccurate data);
- Financial, legal, or investment advice.
8c. What we analyse, and what we do not verify
The report analyses (i) the content of the listing as it appears on the source website at the time we read it, and (ii) the data returned by official UK government registers in response to a query about the VRN you provided.
We do not visit the vehicle, take new photographs, talk to the seller, verify the seller's identity, or physically confirm that the VRN on the actual car matches the VRN provided in the listing or in your order. Where the report identifies discrepancies between the listing and official records, those flags are surfaced for your further investigation — they are not, by themselves, conclusive proof of any wrongdoing or any particular fact about the vehicle.
The report describes patterns visible in the data we have available. Inspecting the vehicle in person, examining its documents, and where appropriate commissioning a physical pre-purchase inspection by a qualified Porsche specialist, remain your responsibility.
We strongly recommend commissioning a physical pre-purchase inspection by a qualified Porsche specialist before buying any 911. Our report is intended to complement, not replace, such inspection.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws;
- Attempt to circumvent our validation, rate limits, payment flow, or authentication;
- Submit URLs that are not Auto Trader UK listings, or deliberately submit listings you know to be fraudulent, expired, or irrelevant;
- Submit a VRN that you have no good-faith reason to associate with the listing in question;
- Re-sell, redistribute, or publish reports or any portion thereof without our express written permission, beyond sharing with parties directly involved in the potential purchase (for example a spouse, co-buyer, mechanic carrying out a physical inspection, or the seller you are negotiating with);
- Use the service, the report, or any DVLA or DVSA data contained in the report for any commercial or business purpose, including but not limited to running a vehicle-trading business, providing third-party valuation or check services, or compiling a database. The service is provided for personal, non-commercial use in connection with a single prospective vehicle purchase by you;
- Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or interfere with the service;
- Submit another person's email address without their permission.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or block access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
10. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- Death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above:
- We provide the service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reports will be completely accurate or comprehensive.
- We rely on data provided by Auto Trader, DVLA, DVSA, and other third parties. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of that third-party data, and we are not liable for losses arising from inaccuracies, omissions, or delays in data we receive from those sources.
- Our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the liability.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses; loss of profit; loss of opportunity; or losses arising from your decision to buy, not buy, or negotiate a vehicle based on a report.
In plain English: the report is a tool, not a verdict. You are making the purchase decision. We are not responsible for the outcome of that decision, and we are not the mechanic, the seller, or the buyer. The most you can claim from us is a refund of what you have paid us.
11. Our suppliers and your data
To deliver the service we use a number of third-party suppliers, including a payment processor, an email delivery service, an AI provider, a PDF rendering service, a hosting platform, and a file storage service. We also query the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry Service and the DVSA MOT History API.
Where these suppliers process personal data on our behalf, they do so under written agreements (or equivalent terms in their service contracts) that comply with Article 28 of the UK GDPR. The full list of suppliers, what data they receive, where they are based, and the international transfer safeguards in place is set out in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to the service or these terms
We may modify the service (features, pricing, supported listings, suppliers used) or these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Changes apply to orders placed after the change is published; they do not apply retroactively to reports already delivered.
Substantive changes will be highlighted on the homepage or communicated by email to existing customers where reasonably possible.
13. Jurisdiction-specific terms and governing law
UK United Kingdom
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including but not limited to the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
